I've been to this place a few times, but I came back recently and just had to write this up. The food here is phenomenal! I'm a pizza fan, but I've had lots of disappointments. Can't say that about Tuscano's. As a little mom and pop shop, they've really perfected their craft to be tastier and healthier than other pizza places. I say this as someone who's not much of an Italian food fan to begin with. The pizza ingredients are so clearly fresh to taste, the bread is soft, and it's not greasy. I have gastritis that prevents me from eating too greasy or I get heartburn, and this pizza never upsets my stomach. Their mango habanero wings are nice and crisp, and not too spicy. Definitely less spicy than BWW and WingStop. I usually order take out, but I dined in last weekend for the first time. They gave us complementary garlic bread that's probably the best I've ever had. Less cheese, more garlic, doused in olive oil--delicious. The only complaint I have is that the waitress was distracted and forgot some parts of our order a few times, but it was nothing a little reminder didn't fix. The Craft Lounge is down the street if you're looking for a place to hang and have some beers after!
We ordered the turkey pesto sandwich, the turkey bacon sandwich and a sausage and pepperoni stromboli. The sandwiches have the perfect bread, so fresh! I am not familiar with the stromboil but I wanted to try it. It seems we may have received a calzone instead based on the description. Either way, delicious. I ordered online from their website for pickup on a Saturday night. It was busy, as expected, but they were great. The restaurant looked good, with the employees busy and cleaning tables. When you walk in they ask if you have been helped. I will definitely go back. The sandwiches were so good!
The customer service was very good. We were taken care of right away. You seat yourself so it's very casual. The Cobb salad came out first was really good and very large. The meatball sandwich came but I wasn't able to get a picture of it because my son consumed it before I could get over there. The Meat Lover pizza was excellent. The crust was done perfectly. It wasn't greasy and that also went for the Hawaiian pizza lots of Canadian Bacon, lots of pineapple. The only thing that I didn't like is that they put cashews on it before they baked it so they were kind of soft. We also had bruschetta and brussels sprouts that were absolutely excellent and I would order time and time again!
First time trying there pizza and garlic bread and antipasto salad and they did not disappoint. Friendly service
